Whats involved in cosmetic eye lift surgery?
I am interested in having cosmetic eye lift. What is the average cost and down time? Is it a painful procedure?

We have a doc who does this procedure in our office. If i'm correct I think he does the surgery at the hospital and they are out that day. I believe you just need a 1 day post-op check and then you're pretty well ok depending on how the doctor feels it goes and is healing. I really don't have a clue how much it costs because i don't handle their billing but I believe they do a local anestesia and its pretty painless. I've never seen one of his done because i haven't been working with him long but i hope this helps

It depends what you mean by eye lift.
Blepharoplasty is removing excess skin (ie tightening) from the upper eyelids. They have a video of the procedure (if you are not too squeemish!) http://eyesurgeryvideos.blogspot.com/2008/05/endoscopic-brow-lift.html

Or the other type is a brow lift. Again another video here…
