Apparent Causes of Cellulite

Cellulite afflicts anyone regardless of whether they are slim or fat and there appear to be no known cure for cellulite. Both men and women can get cellulite but women are more likely to get it. The apparent causes of cellulite have been an unanswered question to all and baffle many but it has been ascertain that cellulite consists of little pockets of fat that is found just underneath the skin.

Women being vainer are more concern about the causes and cure as they hate it when they are afflicted with the hideous looks. It is one of the most unwelcome shocks that a woman can get. Imagine you are wearing a bikini at the beach and someone comes near you and ask you what that is the hideous bumps on your tights and buttocks. Will that affect you adversely? I bet it will dent your confidence and pride. So off those bikini and beaches and remain eternally covered until a solution is found to eradicate it.

Is there a solution as cellulite can be seen at places where thighs, buttocks and hips are the commonest areas that are afflicted and result in an unpleasant growth on the skin? A body consists of fat layers underneath the skin as well as collagen fibers that connect fat to skin. Once the skin broadens as a result of lack of exercise, it will cause fat cells to pop which creates the “cottage cheese” look.

Cellulite might be due to gene but nobody is certain about it as it will afflict slim or fat people. The wrong diet can contribute to producing the hideous cellulite as well as slower metabolism and drinking insufficient quantities of water each day.

Removing cellulite is a multimillion industry as many spend thousands of dollars each year to endure sliming, body wraps in addition to creams just to bid farewell to cellulite. Those mentioned are just the a few out there as there are many more products out in the market.

Cellulite causes a lot of awkwardness to many especially women and there is thus far no long term solution to eradicate the unsightly bumps. One fact that most will not like to hear is that once you have cellulite, it is permanent and even surgical procedure cannot completely remove the “cottage cheese” look.

Although you cannot completely remove Cellulite, it can still be diminished through leading a healthy lifestyle by exercising, a vigorous massage on the affected part to smoothen it as well as drinking adequate amount of water, an appropriate diet of fruits and vegetables, anti-cellulite cream and surgical procedure.

The best action is to deter it from occurring by putting in place measures before cellulite can form. Do all the exercises you need and eat well as well as drink adequately.

    15 year old with cellulite….:S?
On my thighs, i have alot of thin "lines" that are red. I have some white ones too. I used to be REALLY skinny people called me anorexic (even thought they knew i eat and i’m not). I’m 15 and last summer/year i’ve eaten alot more than i normally do and i’ve gained a little weight but i’m still considered normal/thin. I think it’s probably cellulite. How can i get rid of cellulite or make it less apparent cause it looks gross and how can a 15 year old get it, i’m 5 foot 7.
Now they’re starting to look like scars and it got redder

    not cellulite, thats stretch marks
im 17 and i have them too. i used to be really skinny and i gained about 20lbs and i got stretch marks on my boobs and on my sides.
it sucks but its normal. its also genetic. after a few years they begin to fade and become more whitish and not as noticeable. when they are new, they are red. there really is no way to get rid of them unfortunately. they have stretch mark creams out there but i dont really think they work.
cellulite is when you have bumpy thighs/butt. not lines

Cellulite looks like you have cottage cheese in your legs. You just have stretch marks which are normal if you gain a certain amount of weight in a short amount of time. You need to excersise your legs and they will start getting less and less noticeable.

i have them too. you can make them less apparent by tanning. thats typically the beauty advice for those with stretch marks and want to hide them during the summer. the tanned skin & stretch marks blend into one color, kinda so its harder to see unless someone goes really close to you. i heard that laser surgery can get rid of them. i want mine gone too, but its almost winter time! leggings & long pants are the way to go!

I think those are stretch marks not cellulite. Start using some palmer’s cocoa butter ASAP on the red ones. The white looking ones means that they are old stretch marks. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about those without getting some expensive laser treatment. You can reduce the appearance and prevent from getting new ones by putting on cocoa butter everyday.
